Black color in color palette of interior designer/ Черный цвет в палитре дизайнера интерьера

From time to time working on interior design we need to add a specific color accent or create whole interior in one color gamut. Color and shape with decoration - is a foundation of visual perception of interior by humans. Colors in interior design is a universal language in artist conversation with audience.

In previous article we talked about white and grey color in interior design: Color palette ofinterior designer: let's say... white! and Grey color in interior designer color palette. Well, let's talk about “Back to Black” - the last achromatic color - black color. The expressive means of black color are very multifarious: at first, black color constructs very crisp contour of shape and evident drawing or pattern (it is widely used to create symptomatology imagery, some conceptual message for viewer), black color can swallow up all the other parts of color detail or inversely - to reveal them, it can increase contrast, rhythm, dynamics, make evident spatial composition etc.

Black accents can make unique hypnotic cosmic or masculine effect, elegant with contemporary precision inclusions with grey, white and metallic steel accents (like Eggersmann Unique Lupus Grey Granite Kitchens). Accordingly black color is very strong, deep powerful and rigid tool.

Grey color in interior designer color palette/ Серый цвет в палитре дизайнера интерьера

Now and then when we work on interior design we need to add an individual unusual color accent or create whole interior in one colour gamut. Color and shape with decoration - is a foundation of visual perception of interior by humans. Color in interior design is universal language in conversation artist with audience.

In previous article we talked about white color in interior design: Color palette ofinterior designer: let's say... white! (the later article Black color in color palette of interior designer). Let's talk about another achromatic color - grey color. To tell the truth - Grey is a Great Color )) It has thousand tints: warm and cold, soft or more intensive, pulsating and evident or more eluding, evanescent, ephemeral like mist or dream. Many interior designers like grey color extremely )) It's very aesthetic and elegant color. Grey is a gratifying color for interior designer ))

Using grey color you always get perfect match of colours. Grey and another chromatic color - is the classic color combination and will never date. But grey color must be alive, must breathe, mustn't be simple or primitive. I mean impressionistic tradition to impress white, grey or black color. Impressionist never used primitive color mixes. As a matter of fact his "achromatic" color wasn't colourless light, it was universe of fine tints and subtle color nuances. Let's say Edgar Degas - "The Dance Class", "Ballet Rehearsal", "Three Dancers in an Exercise Hall" or "In a Café" - they are incredible masterpieces, a symphony of grey color tints. In avant-garde and suprematist painting we can find the same practice. The well known Kazimir Malevich painted Suprematist Composition "White on White" and "Black Suprematic Square". And of course Malevich didn't create plain white or simple black color. Malevich carried out several repetition varietys of "Black Square". Now we know about four versions of "Black Square", which differ in pattern, texture and color. It's always black squares, but they are not just simple black, they are "witchcraft" of black, they are conglomeration of suprematic and philosophical ideas.

Grey color associates with the equilibrium, stability, wisdom, judiciousness, rest, scientific and technological advance, Information Technologies (IT), Space, twilight, mystique deep, dream, sorcery.
